hose reel K systems

I have a hose reel from K systems, when i clip it to the hose it leaks....any suggestions or an adaptor which could prevent this?

You could try wrapping some PTFE tape around the thread?

Did you sort this out as i've same problem. I got some angle iron welded to bottom of reel to sit it off floor and reels out better now.
