All work and No Play but still good news.
« on: January 20, 2006, 01:31:35 pm »
After working non stop over Christmas and New Year up untill yesterday, the time has come to take a couple of days off, the only problem I now have, is how? :(
3 contracted Fleet cleans to do every week until April. 8)
Mobile valeting bookings coming in every day. :o
Now an approved council sub contractor for Chewing Gum and Graffiti.
Power washing Service at full stretch. ::)
Good news for all newbies I started late last year no idea learnt the hard way reggarding advertising and it's pitt falls(costs etc)
I am a one man operation as every time I employed someone they were useless and I had to get rid.
I will never be a millionair but am now content with my earnings, luck has paid a major part as I seem to have delivered my leaflets to the right area and the right people have seen them. ;D ;D
It just goes to show if you want to do it you can, the help from this forum has been invaluble and a personal thanks to Preston Power Blast (Gary) and all the other people who's advice I have taken onboard and acted on many thanks. It is now half one in the afternoon and my next job starts at five untill about nine tonight all the best to all on the forum for a busy year.
( now where is that tax return I am suppose to fill in).
Malky

Glad to hear it mate - well done!

Just starting up myself, mainly going to target domestic market first - patios, drives, gutters conservatories etc. Glad to hear the fliers worked, that's my first campaign once I get van and gear sorted.

Congrats Malky, I wish I had the problem of no spare time!!
Holidays...are they given away free now?  ;)
I'm just up and running too so things are a wee bit slow just now, getting more enquieries than jobs but getting there.
Good Luck for the future too.
