Hi

If your accountant has access to your hmrc online account to view your tax affairs are you still able to register to view your accounts online too  ??? ??? ???

Don't get me wrong my accountant is great fantastic at what he does and i trust him but it would be nice to view my tax affiars online to ( i like to be in control  ;D ;D )

I don't want to ask him as it will look like i don't trust him  :'( :'(

Yes.

Ask HMRC what you need to get set up (passsword, security etc) - phone them at a quieter time and you will get though, although they may have to put you through to a "specialist adviser" or get one to ring you back.

But in principle you can definitely look at your own account. I do, but then my wife and I (grammar ;)) do our own accounts stuff and just ask HMRC when we feel the need.
It's a game of three halves!

You should have a username and a password. That's all you need to access it.
