Just been out for a quotation, nice size driveway bpaved aprox 200m poor condition + flags around property extra 300m.
Local pikey has had a go and given up! cleaned only 10m looks like he has used a domestic Karcher results useless...
gave the quotation to customer and she was shocked  :o Thats three times the cost  ;D ;D

As its a Sunday just couldnt stop myself.... 'Well what happened to the guy that took 2hrs to clean 10m ?? '  ;D ;D
Customer replied ' We had it cleaned in 2010 for a third of your price' my reply ' I dont wish to be rude but why are you not using the same company??' .... response  'they have gone bust'  ;D ;D
At this stage I fell over with laughter!

Good luck to who ever gets the job   :P
Over time I think its nice to know when to simply walk away  ;D

You are expensive though to be fair mate  ;D

Some people just don't realise the professional results that can be achieved. I see people doing flagstone driveways all the time with their karchers on fans nozzle.
I stopped at one once and questioned does she like it with stripes in. I offered a free demo to which I twisted her arm at the second offer, did an area in 5 seconds with a 12'' mosmatic to what was taking her minutes to do. Gave her a price of £40 to finish it and was done 30 mins later.

We get the same when people get it into their heads they can restore floors with a couple of sets of floor pads and a mono rotary. Little bit annoying really but custmers in fairness are always looking for the cheapest option

Yet it is frustrating.... especially when people try to use scrubbers on jobs which are best suited to PRESSURE WASHING  ;D ;D

Agree but that's personal opinion really based on experience and geological make up of the stone.  Some stone comes up better with a rotary scrubber rather than a pressure washer!  However, a lot of this is down to the experience, equipment and how it is used by the person doing the pressure washing. :o :o :o
