Dave, very interesting, Entertaining to say the least. What I would like to highlight is the "Vibe" you have created. Warm Friendly and Inviting.

I would say you are strengthening the customer/service provider relationship every time you blog and that will only compound as time goes on. People buy People as I am sure you know And your customers will know you as "Dave" and not the window cleaner.

Taking this into consideration I believe you are securing your customer base against the wave of new wcs.

In short It is 10 times harder to get rid of Dave than it is "that window cleaner."

Hi,
 Now don`t laugh. I haven`t started cleaning yet but can I ask a stupid question. When you go to a house and the upstairs windows are open like in the picture, can you not clean if custie is not in to shut them? Using a WFP will the water run in?

try to push them shut with brush head,   if  not on a latch,  i use a harris pole if this is the case. push the latch up and close. im still learning.  saving for my aqu adapter, to save my water.

Thanks mate, You've given me a warm fuzzy feeling, and I've had a few  beers!
It was good to see England win tonight, but it's even better to see positive comments about my blog 

I have no axe to grind and I'm honestly an easy going chilled out (mostly) kind of guy.

I'm happy if just a few of you get a little interest from reading about my fairly mundane existence.

You can clean them open or push them shut, or knock the latch and close them.

Honestly it's never been an issue!

They cost about £7 and last about 8 months I'd guess.

No need to spend on aquadapters.

Hi Andrew

I use a tap on the end of my main hose, with a rectus 21 type fitting screwed into the one end, not attached to the pole.

I  loop the main hose around the back of my neck so that the tap is just below my chest.

The tap is always easily accessible, and it is kept off the floorso the rectus 21 fitting is kept nice and clean.
