Do any of you guys have any sideline jobs for wet days or any ideas for making a few extra quid. Looking forward to your thoughts. Michael-G&M

Hi again Michael,

From previous postings on this subject it seems as if most w/c cross-promote several services either on the back of their 'your windows have been cleaned today' cards or on seasonal flyers to existing customers.

We all have a ready made market for add-ons - this being our own customer base.

Just a few of the add-ons w/c can eaily do are :-

1.  Gutter cleaning
2.  Upvc cleaning
3.  Sofitts/eaves etc cleaning
4.  garage door cleans
5.  Patio blasting (needs a Karcher or similar)
6.  Grass cutting

Im sure there are many more but the big earner is gutter cleaning which is usually seasonal in Sept/Oct and March/ April although we do then all the time.

If you do a search on any of the above you will get some more info on each and details on any equipment you would need.

Hope that gives you a starting point, regards,

Sarah   ;)

My part time job on rainy days is a Rocketeer - the problem is that on wet days the condensation in the milk bottle builds up and the blue touch paper gets damp and Bingo! Houston we have a problem.

Just off to line my hat (or perhaps my underpants?) with tin-foil to stop them reading my thoughts.
It's a game of three halves!

You could always get together with other local window cleaners and go do a show "Windows Cleaners Get Dirty".

Of course, you'll want your customer base for these events to be women only.  Your day job is ideal to advertise this other profession - you deal mainly with women when w/c.

Imagine the extra you could make.  Imagine the extra w/c you'll be offered JUST because Mrs Evans told Mrs Jones that you do semi naked shows & you have a huge wf Pole!   Your phone wont stop ringing.
