I agree that violence is never the answer, but I never forget, at some point in the future there may come a time when you can visit vengenge upon them
You know the kind of thing, it's a wet, cold miserable winters night, its blowing a gale and the rain is coming down in stair rods.
You drive along a road that is miles from anywhere and come across a person tramping miserably along the road with a petrol can in their hands.
You pull into the verge, his face lights up as he runs towards your car.
You wind down your window, and as he looks in you smile and say, "Remember me?...not your lucky day is it pal?
"
You then pull off smartly before he smashes your face in
Just be careful you don't stall the engine
Ok, you will probably never be lucky enough to get your revenge in quite such an enjoyable fashion, but if someone dumps on me I don't forget, I may never get the chance to even the score (unless I set out to deliberately do so...which I don't do) but should the oportunity ever arise then I make sure I do so.
Tosh and Squeaky will both know who I mean, there is a local window cleaner I don't get on with (few of us do) and a few years back he 'poached' a job off me in an underhand way.
It was only a £2.50 shop front, but I was peeved about it.
There is a set of traffic lights in the town centre, I was talking to someone and I think I was actually stood outside the shop in question.
This 'window cleaner' pulled up at the lights, just as they turned green he flicked a glance towards me and 'smirked' as he pulled away.
I wanted to smack him one, I really did
Since then I have taken a few accounts off him now and then, in fact I've just taken a £6.00 shop front off him that just happens to be next door to the one he took off me all those years ago.
Now I just have to pray he turns up at the lights as I am WFPing them...and then I can smirk at him.
At the moment he probably doesn't know how is going to be taking over the job in his place, it'll absolutely kill him to find out it's me.
I may not get lucky enough to have him in a position where I can 'smirk' at him as I am cleaning them.
But I'll get a warm glow knowing his insides will be twisted up when he knows it is me that is doing the account
Revenge IS sweet when it is done right.
