Hi
Been pestered all day while doing tax and paperwork from a company in Manchester Net Search Media
Their Main Promises
31 Day top of page listing on Google (Local).
5 Search terms. i.e. Window cleaning, Window Cleaners, High Reach Window Cleaning.......
Free 3 Page website dev. and design.
Free Hosting for duration of agreement.
£120 incl VAT.
Wanted my Debit Card No. over phone to take immediate payment.
MMMMmmmmmmmm.
Fool and his money are soon parted! If something sounds too good to be true it probably is! Is what I thought.
Or am I just a cynical old B?
Anyone used this crew?
Don't know myself Totalshine sounds good but once they have banked the money what obligation will they honour?
G.

Beware of companies that 'promise' top of google in 30 days or something.
Its impossible to promise this, there are thousands of SEO companies trying to get their clients into the 10 positions available.
They may be able to improve your ranking, but top of P1 has too many variables.
Unless you're a pigeon milker in Orkney or something equally obscure.

Just do a google search for SEO companies, see if the company that emails you or calls you is on the front page. The results are self-explanatory.

100% agree, if they say they guarentee it they are lying to you, there are more than 10 seo companies, when I do this for people I never promise anything, I just what could help and tend to do ok

dependant upon competition "GOOGLE ADWORDS " is the best.

ive paid and dealt with seo companies and results are mixed to say the least.

you need to search google for YOUR keywords /phrases

are you or your competitors registered with google maps as this is absolute key to get placement on normal window cleaning keywords for your area.

seo/optimisation  is an absolute nightmare in truth.

Loads of this about at the minute I had one said they organised the ads for Facebook they're only canvassing for work. But they never say anything genuine.

If you get caught out and sign up they just deny their claims so it's best just to swerve the lot of them is my advice.

If you need SEO find someone local and ask for references off other businesses they've sorted out, play them off against each other  blah blah you know the rest.SEO people are ten a penny these days and it's only info you could trawl off the internet in your spare time you just need to search the latest posts about it. Waste of time reading older stuff cos that's all dead in the water now.
