Is there a way of repairing? I am going to order some more hose from Gardiner to keep spare. Do Gardiner sell the hose per metre? I think its microbore hose 6 or 8 mm not sure as lost the original invoice. Need around 12 metres same as supplied with the pole.

if its 8mm why not buy a John guest push fit straight connector,cut the hose were the leak is and connect together if its feasible

Use some electrical tape to get you by till you get the new hose Alex does sell per meter you may need to call as don't think it is on the website I could be wrong though

Yes tried them last year, you wouldnt want to work forever with them but as a short term fix they work great....the whole packs a fiver but comes with these and y and t pieces. Always had them in the van

Self amalgamating tape then a quick wrap of insulating tape thats what i use to repair hose works every time .

Dont bother with O clips for microbore hose either just do as above .

This is the kind of thing you should be after as a temp repair job. Isnt there a small engineering shop nearby, wherever you are; just a well stocked hardware store will sell these.

Cheers for the replies lads and no I dont have spare hose, I only started doing top windows of my round wfp 3 months ago or so, so still pretty new to it. Will pick up some tape from Wickes and ring up and order some more hose

I don't know if it was the hot weather, but I had three different leaks in our hoses today!

Helped my mate out today and he's only just gone WFP from being trad, only 3wks in and he's got a hole in his microbore   :O, anyway, he just gaffed it up with said tape and it's okay   
By the way, I'm in the pub having a swift half..... Cheers

I got my connectors from Halfords they were around a tenner a set  rip off Halfords disappointed now and it was next door to B&Q.

And I picked the one off the top of the stack that somebody had been in and snaffled a few of the fittings!

Probably a window cleaner / shoplifter with a hole in their hose.

Top Tip - make sure the plastic box still has the sticky tape across it before you take to the till!

Where have you snagged it? If its not too far from the ends just cut it and carry on.
