One job today
« on: May 25, 2012, 02:47:50 pm »
Just the one job for me today; infact I may have to pop back for an hour or two tomorrow to finish it. It's a big buggar but it's nice to be in one place all day.

Trouble is the company I'm doing it for are very disorganised and all the bloody windows are wide open. This job has been in the diary for over a month and they've been e-mailing every day to remind me so you'd think they'd remember I was coming!!!!
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

Why would he lie,and why accuse him of lying, proper sad post hope you are happy and for the record I have one commercial and they have mailed me a few times,so you shouldn't assume everyone is the same.

Every now and then on here you get a few people with far bigger mouths than brains!!
MLS is sound; one of the few on here people should heed (even if he doesn't like trad much!!!)
I expect his shoulders are broad enough to take it though!

Im not commenting on the responders to this thread, but why not just go in and ask your contact, or someone who works there, to ensure the windows are closed? We wouldnt be going back the next day in all honesty if we had turned up to do the work.

If the customer had been emailing daily to ask when the job was going to be done and had got no joy it's no wonder the windows were open in this weather; they'd emailed daily ~ got no joy ~ why would they assume they were to be cleaned on that day when they hadn't been cleaned when they'd previously asked?

or send the trainee / young lad up the stairs in office block and pre warn all the desk jockeys ?

only works if he wasnt by himself of course and if it was an office block  :)
