Just been back to the job, and the windows look mint, you cant see a spot or streak anywhere, buts thats only cos the sun isnt shining on them.

Ive soaked 4 panes of glass in white vinegar, rubbed throughlly, and then trad'd them again. Gonna call back there tomorrow when the sun is shining on them to see if its made any diffrence.

The marks were 100% not there before I started.

I licked me finger then wiped the frame and had nothing on me finger.

If there is still an issue tomorrow when you inspect, I guess they will need to be WFP's again.  My suggestions are 000 TDS and a higher flow rate as has been suggested.  Additionally, I suggest the following.  Work along the entire top row ensuring that you scrub the horizontal frame below it.  Hopefully, by the time you start on row 2, any drips/runs will have stopped from the horizontal frame.  When doing row 2, perhaps stop the brush just below the seal between row 1 and row 2.  While cleaning row 2, also scrub the horizontals below that - and so on.  I solved a problem this way once but there's no way of knowing if it will help you.

They look like anodised aluminium frames, they are a pain in the rear at the best of times due to the pitted nature of the frames surface, they are always difficult to clean, let alone in hot sun.

Try to keep away from the frames and do not do any lower pane until dripping has stopped from above.

Indeed.  Leaving the frames completely may be better than my own suggestion.

My guess is the marks were there before & it's nothing to do with todays wfp clean. ;)

Newbies to wfp are often paranoid over "spots", you WILL see spots & marks on some glass that you never even noticed when trad! ;)

Have to agree. One clean with WFP would not cause permanent spots no matter how bad your water.

two reasons first you have to have  tds of 000 if you use water that is anything higher than that you might aswell clean windows with tap water second you must rinse lots and lots and lots there will be a build up of grime and  dirt over time pure water will keep on drawing this out
shiney one

Went back today, soaked all glass with white vinegar, cleaned again traditional way, and handed in my invoice. Spoke to both reeptionists, and the owner, and no one had a problem with the glass. I said, its because the sun isnt shining on them, its hard to see without. Left it with them to call me if any problems in the future :)
