i couldnt believe what i was seeing earlier 2day half 9 this morning a couple in there house with the god dam fire burning away it must of been 20c even at that time,then later on around half 2 (terraced house) another fire burning away

some crazy folk out there

I went to a house today, mid day in a T shirt and beanie hat on to keep the sun out of my eyes. Feeling very hot. The customer opened the door in a thick woollen jumper, and I do mean thick.
"Blimey aren't you hot in that?" i said. He looked at me as if he hadn't a clue what I was on about.

It's funny isn't it - different people have different temperature feelings. Go to a kingdom hall and some are too hot, some ar too cold. One couple I know (she is "big" he is skinny) she is fanning herself with a leaflet at anything above 10 degrees and he is shivering at 25!

I remember we once had a dial thermostat that could be adjusted by hand and when the heating system got replaced the hall attendant suggested leaving the thermostat and if anyone complained it was too hot/cold he would go to the thermostat and "change" it!

It worked until the next hall redecoration and the hall attendant would just tell folk to turn the thermostat up or down a bit but that it might take fifteen minutes to feel the difference.
