How often do you pay staff ?

I have a guy who works for me 3 days a week... I pay him a weeks pay in arrears.

I find it easier paying each week, rather than having to make sure I have a lump of money available for him every month.

Weekly, one week in arrears. As all part time and thus relatively low overall earnings I wouldn't dream of paying less frequently than that.

It has been known in the past for people who have worked for me to be paid daily.

Its pretty pathetic really when in a full time job.
