Think the time has come to either ban trad shiners from this forum or give them their own forum.
I do'nt want to be associated with them
Please discuss  ;)

I trad still and use a WFP.  Sometimes I'll even rub a dirty scrim over small panes of glass too; I did that this morning on the insides of a pub.

Or tradders even ...

It's a game of three halves!

It says in the Big Book of Fairy Tales that we shouldn't isolate ourselves from others:

Quote
Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.

So I think we should let the tradders stay!

You should've done a vote, but maybe that's a bit complicated for a Bristolian?

I still think the tradders should have their own forum, coz the wfp guys are so above them.
Infact tradders only serve to drag our trade through the mud with their rusty old Ford Mondeos, dirty water and disgusting looking scrims.
Gives window cleaners a bad name

Do we not all do the same job but by using different methods? I think this forum is of more use to wfp than to us tradders as it is a more complicated (all be it quicker when actually cleaning) and therefore will have more things to go wrong, and more advice needed. But t the end of the day we all hope to achieve the same results; clean windows, happy customers = profit.
If you do not want to be mentioned in the same breath as us (me), who employ 8 people and have in excess of 1200 customers so be it, but some of our problems are the same and any advice given or recieved should be welcomed
