II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
Sanctuary management services provides and manages a number of student
accommodation sites in England and Scotland. During the summer vacation
period (June to September), Sanctuary Management Services operates an
accommodation service to the wider public. To ensure we attract the
highest possible revenue during this period, each site, to varying degrees
are subjected to a thorough clean (referred to here on, as ‘deep cleaning
or a deep clean’). Our needs vary year on year, so this tender opportunity
is suited to suppliers who can respond to fluctuations in demand and high
volume deep cleaning commitments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for us to work with suppliers who will
share our motivation to achieve our service objectives, during one of our
most exciting revenue periods.
Our primary focus for this tender opportunity is to attract experienced
suppliers who will have the capacity to deep clean at high volumes,
bedrooms, kitchens and other internal communal areas, potentially over a
restricted number of days. Our requirements per site will vary, for
example we may require the deep cleaning of 10 to 50 bedrooms within a
couple of days or 50 % of a lot/block within a week. The volume of deep
cleaning required is subject to a number of facts, many of which inhibits
our ability to guarantee defined levels of work per site (with the
exception of our Edinburgh site). This opportunity will therefore be based
on a call off arrangement (i.e. deep cleaning services to be provided as
and when required).
A list of sites (lots) by location and anticipated volume of work is given
within the tender documents.
Supplies may bid for one or more Lots. We will aim to award 1 or up to 3
suppliers per lot (as appropriate, to cover each site).
