Professional Jet Washing Boots
« on: April 14, 2012, 08:31:41 am »
I came across these on German E Bay!  Anyone got anything like these??  They are around £300 a pair and the specification is in English halfway down the listing

bloodyhell, proper riggers!  ;D
I think they're for concrete cutting/drain jetting as opposed to jet washing, or anything over 250/300 bar, i shop at primani so you wouldn't catch me paying more than £25 for wellies... I'm a tight git  :)

They are indeed a pair of wellies with a bit of aluminium stuck on the front.

I currently have a pair of haix - goretex, high legged, military looking steel toe capped boots.

As Kenny has said they are for Ultra high pressure jetting. At least a couple of times a year I stripe across my boots and it really tests the leather and if on the crease it lets your toes have a tickle.

I am always on the look out for the best boots etc but I fear they are not them

I use Arco's steel toe capped chemical resident wellingtons, had no problems with them, and they seem to withstand a turbo going across them.

Tried different one's  at different prices as dear as £65. My brother-in-law bought a load for his drivers and I grabbed a pair that were left over. These are the one's but with a red sole. Been the best I've had. Had the same one's on for about 6 months now(Not continuously!). No splits but due a new pair as soles worn down.

thrid pair of wellies sliced in space of few months. i do some work on warehouse roofs and the metal sheeting is sharp on edges and if yer boot rubs on it they are sliced. Those metal guards would be handy but not at that price.
