Prices should not be the important part for the show unless the tradesman had done a poor job del ;)

Good news doesn't sell, just look through any newspaper to find out how many pages it takes before you get to a 'good storey' article.

There are some programmes like that Neil. Like when Melinda Messenger walks into a builders merchant with a camera crew and says you're on national television and it would be really nice if you could donate £10k worth of materials to help a down on their luck family.

They always cough up.  :)
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Yes there are a few progs around but spend a fair amount of time initially playing on the bad side of a storey.

I sell my service by the item I clean, if there's a small item to clean and it doesn't seem value for a money I'll explain that they could have some extras cleaned within the min charge but price is definately on arrival and I'll give them upto their budget ie the min charge if the extras go over then I will inform before I start I NEVER mention time unless asked it can be a problem area so I change subject, I like to sell my service like products customers get what they ask for and a price.
