Do you think the resi neck wears your pole out quicker im finding when the pole gets wet the clamps slip when i try to use the resi neck

it can't be the pole it's a slx and its only a few months old

The temperature has had an effect on my pole, when it's really cold I have ro nip the clamps a little, as for wearing the pole quicker I don't see it. You are probably using the pole at different angles to normal which spins the pole as the clamps aren't done up enough,

i havent noticed that one, but i have noticed the resi necks dont seem to screw on to the top of the clx & slx as well as the old angle adapter

I think i know what you mean and the answer is No it doesn`t make anything wear out quicker at all,the clamp or clamps just need tweaking to suit the conditions.When i get a twist round on a clamp i didn`t want it often results in a super quick 90 degree turn at the brush head as i go out of control and the brush slamming into the glass sideways and sods law it happens at the window of a room the customer is in. I use it as a reminder to back off a bit with the actual pressure i apply to the brush(always having to remind myself)and a reminder to keep the clamps spot on.I actually now enjoy some of the fine tweaking involved and today was one of them days when it felt like poetry in motion especially when the hourly rate starts reflecting this.
                   Imagine waking up to a £10 an hour pay rise ! Thats what suddenly seems to happen when everything comes together and you have the right equipment and i`ll say again that an extreme pole is worth min £2 hour.

Using the resi I find I have to tighten the clamps more than I would normally,the drawback is it then makes it a wee bit harder to extend and collapse the pole,I use the SLX.

have the resi neck on a clx, I love it, way better than other on the market, I can't say I have come across any of your problems though
