The University of Brighton invites expressions of interest to undertake
the provision of cleaning services in University Halls of Residence,
located at Varley Halls and Phoenix House, Brighton. The Halls provide
accommodation for approximately 800 students.
Cleaning services are required for all communal areas of the various
housing blocks during the academic year and summer letting period. A 'deep
clean' of all study bedrooms is required once a year during the summer
period.
Off campus properties managed by the University are also likely to be
included in the cleaning requirement.

The Halls are at the Varley site and at Phoenix House. Varley is part way
through a major rebuilding project with new Halls being added to the site
and some older buildings being demolished.
The contract is to be let for a 2 year period, with the possibility of
extending the contract by a further 2 one-year periods, subject to
performance.
