As some of you may have been reading on the General cleaning board we are putting together a database of registered cleaners of all disciplines. The idea being to help each other achieve greater things, discounted products and more importantly a free referral system where we help each other.

For more information please read the "The Federation" subject. I hope its of interest to you and any suggestions you have please comment.

Best Regards

Paul

:)Yep, If you would like to add my Company to your refferal list, Phoenix Cleaning Services.  We are based in Cannock Staffs and our expertise lays mainly in BC, RC, Sparkles to new build cleans.  We have five fully fitted vehicles and can travel to most areas of the UK, currently travelling to Hatfield area, have done work in central london and as far north as Liverpool for one particular contract.  have been in business for 4 years and take great pride in what we do.  Current turnover is approx £300k a year, all cleaners are uniformed and have two window cleaners as well.  Our main area we cover is in the Midlands but for the "right price" we will consider work anywhere.  We currently carry out work for the major house building companies in the UK, latest contract is 352 houses, a shopping area and a school all in one project spread out over the next 3 years.  Thats a brief outline of what we do, should anyone want help, please contact us: graham@phoenixdrivers.co.uk. ;)

;DHi Paul, I would like to be added to you list as I think it is an excellent idea, I am a new start business and currently just act as an agency where I assess the job then send in a suitable cleaner to homes & small offices.  I currently do not employ cleaners but allocate the jobs to suitable people or companies.  Don't know about england but in Scotland cleaning is an Issue which seriously needs addressed "It is a nightmare" as they are sooo behind!!! I have at least 20 years experience in the cleaning industry from cleaner to management, during this time I studied for a Bachelor of Science in Quality Management  (BSc) which included ISO 9000:2000, I am also an Associate member of the Institute of Quality Assurance (AIQA), therefore, I am prepared to help out with any Quality Issues that may arise on your journey. Personnaly "I think this is the only way forward", as lack of communication seems to be the biggest problem.  There is so much waste, which if controlled could lead to more meaningful profits for everyone!! My website is currently pretty vague but most of my business is personal recommendations, which keep me going but will not make me a millionaire.  I could be ruthless if I had decent contractors to work with!!! Incidently: got all my teeth out today & found a bottle of "buckfast" in the fridge, they say this is a tonic & I need a tonic, mixed it with diet irn bru, Tastes good and feels good: but what can you expect from "a common cleaner in Scotland, Who wears a suit to work".  I think people should be aware that cleaning is not an easy job and not everyone can actualy clean "effectively".  I can spot clean a carpet if it is easy to clean otherwise a proffessional is needed for the job.  Windows is my pet hate: takes me hours: window cleaner can do a better job in 5 minutes.  Lets get some partnerships up and running which can only be the way forward for the cleaning industry. I previously looked into co-op's but they confused me a little.
