Pure Freedom Van System
« on: February 14, 2012, 07:32:22 pm »

Hi,

I know this has been talked about before but i would like some advice from any of
you who currently use a Pure Freedom Hot system good or bad?

I'm looking at buying a full van hot system, 500L tank, 2 man, outside ports and so on..

I know these cost a lot but think with the way things are going this is the best way
forward and think this could save time on 1st cleans, FSG's and connie roofs etc.

Are there any other systems that any of you would recommend?

Thanks,

Luke :)

I agree.  I work with Wor Lass with a 400 litre tank.  Depending on the work, we're out of water by 12 pm - 1 pm; so then I have to go home, drop her off, refill and head out by myself.

She loves it; and is dead set against getting a bigger tank, but 500 litres for two people isn't a lot.  I'd say 650 minimum.

And it's easy enough to DIY you're own system for a fraction of the cost.  My DIY system works as well as any fitted system.

agree with above - we have 1000 ltrs and on busy days use a good 800 ltrs

just my opinion - think seriously if your going hot - if i remember correctly a p/f hot system is a couple of grand ?

just ask yourself - is it a requirement for your biz ? or just a would like to have ?   lets face it even with the current cold snap it's barely more than a couple of odd days you couldn't clean with cold water..  and you may find 2k is better spent
elsewhere in the biz - unless of course your 2 man days a so packed out there is no natural catch up time etc..
then hot would prevent a back log -  to cover the cost cleaning time would have to be really improved and then of course you have to add the running costs on top ( and it maybe only 3/4 quid a day ) but that all mounts up

I did a bit of research and I swithered between Ionics, Varitech and Pure Freedom.

Pure Freedom is a good system and I chose Varitech due to strong recommendations on their after sales service from a guy in my area who has 4 of their systems in his fleet and a competitive price.
