whoops!
« on: February 11, 2012, 05:44:32 pm »
Forgot to put the heating on in the garage, it got down to -16 here last night.

Yep, my RO filter housings exploded, not too bothered about that as they have been going for 7 years and I have ordered a nice new system.

But, they exploded all over the newly rebuilt and painted motorcycle sat underneath them, bits of perspex everywhere and ice all over the nice shiny paintwork >:(

did u cry ;D ;D

I am hoping it doesn't damage the paintwork, I have been rebuilding it for 4 months and am waiting for the weather to break for a first ride then sell it at a big profit, then to buy a new motocrosser so I can do myself some serious damage.

Mention that again, and I am coming over to let your tyres down so you can't go anywhere.

It was and still is an early Aprilia RS 125, been fully rebuilt, flat head and piston, barrel honed, ported and polished, and rest of the bike fully derestricted, I expect it will be about 33bhp at the wheel and should fly.

I guess some 17yo with some cash burning a hole in his pocket will be the fastest of his mates in about a months time.
