whats your verdicts guys. i had a conversation with a wc about what pole to buy and he was adamant the ionics was the best but i had my heart set on gardiners. bit confused

Slx is full carbon, less expensive, lighter, more rigid and is the length printed on its side as opposed to adding a few feet to make it look like a good deal.

Yep, spot on.

An Ionic 25ft pole is probably only 22ft actual where an SLX 25 is actually 25ft long! (& a better pole)
