how does nano protect work? I know the amount you apply is a lot less than other protector, where does the 'NANO' come into it?

what is the active ingredient?  I've only used chemspecs stainshield which I've found to be excellent but would like to try Nano as there is less chance of leaving the carpet wetter than necessary but call me old fashioned but i'm not keen on using products when i don't know whats in

I would think that Nano means the particlea or molecules or whatever they are, to be much smaller, therefore coating the fibre more.

What are the active ingrediants, best ask Mr White at solutions !!

Hi Guys

Nano actually means 10 to the power of -9, whereas milli is 10 to -3.

So a nanometre is 0.0000000001 metres, yes small.

However so are most other  cleaning chemicals which could also be measured in nanometres so all a bit meaningless.

Just treat it as a marketing term.

Cheers

Doug

I agree Doug it could be spin but as a product I do like it for 2 reasons one is it doesn't over wet and two. It's quite cheap, I do find that every product manufacturer/supplier tries to re invent their lines to give them a unique edge, tm manufacturers do it regularly every 3 years or so just when you may be looking at new machinery.
