Am trying to set up a new round. have been walking around looking at windows to see it there is any evidence of an existing window cleaner.... what's the protocol when canvessing in an area where someone else has a round - is this a definate NO NO or is it simply anyone's market  i have found that a lot are quite dirty but this could be due to the fact that they are probably done on a monthly or bi-monthly basis i feel i am hitting a brickwall but i do not want to be seen to be invading someone elses territory am i being to apprehensive on this matter?

I wouldnt say its a no no,but as a canvasser,if a customer has a WC,we just ok,thanks and move on,we dont undercut or anything,if the householder is not happy or not seen the WC,thats a different ball game.Ive never had a problem yet,in fact if we know that a WC lives there we will knock to see if he requires more business....we have picked up contracts that way.
