Di Vessel
« on: December 02, 2006, 08:20:29 pm »
Hi Guy's

Can anyone give me a bit of advice on the best Di vessel to buy?  I was looking at the 11ltr one, but then I seen the 10'' plastic one, just need it to fit on a 200gpd Ro-unit.

Thanks Guy's

any of them will do jeff but you will be changing the resin more in the smaller 1

Many thanks,

I think I will have to take a TDS reading first to see what it is, if it comes out the RO- pretty low then I think the small one will be ok, but like you said I will have to change resin more often.

Thats what I thought until I uped my water pressure with a booster pump, just changed my resin after about 11 weeks, it was still only at 2 but as I was changing my filters thought I would have a fresh start.

Oh my cannister is only 250 mil.

i used to use a 250 ml cylinder ( the blue 1 ontop of RO-MAN's units) i would change it every few months, i then needed to bulk up a order to get free delivery so i ordered a this

http://www.ro-man.com/shop/product_info.php/cPath/33/products_id/98

it normally last me best part of the year
my tap is 470 and it come sout of my ro at about  006, so the DI doesnt have to do too much work

i give it a shake every few months and its good again
