i`ve just had new cards done,it`s got my company name on,my mobile number, insured and i think thats all you need on cards really,as long as people know you are a window cleaner and they can contact you,the rest can be discussed in person, keep it simple,if you put too much on it can look cramped and messy, less is more as the sayin goes,Gaz  ;)

Mine says "Professional Window Cleaners" then underneath it says "Waterfed Pole/Conventional" then name address home phone no. and a logo of a ladder (cuz thats what people still associate with w/cleaners)
It's a game of three halves!

I get mine for vista print as well, apart from Business cards I also get printed
cards that say " Your windows have been cleaned will collect money on ___
night ". Find this works for me as always forget to print labels out and end
up having to write it down on a torn pice of paper.

  Looks professional as well.

I can count on one hand the amount of Business cards I have given out, if your having flyers printed give those to potential customers, unless your targeting commercial i'd keep business cards very simple.

How much do the business cards cost?? What about flyers??  Anyone think they're worth paying for or just make a few basic ones up at home on the old Police Constable??

You can get 5000 a5 full colour flyers printed for about £90-100 with an hours artwork about £50 extra (you only need pay that once)
Work out how much ink your home printer uses (@£10-20 per cartridge) then voila the math is done

I started printing my own flyers and it cost me loads, so i stopped pdq.
