urine on rug

i have a thick all wool rug,used pro chems neutraliser,also urine off
the smell makes it way back,if it could be immersed in detergent and chemical it would work
anyone using any super chemical
i have extracted the back as well has the front with my tm
any ideas

If its urine from a tom cat then you are in the S**T mate.

How is it constructed? I'd immerse it and keep rinsing if it's knotted, some backings won't like that though.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Hi Gary

I would try Zybac. Works well and I have had no repeat smells especially from strong cat urine. If you Google it, you can read up on the product

Did one yesterday that Swiss laundry had refused to clean,due to possibility of it falling to bit's.
Said I would do it but would not accept responsibility,soaked both sides in urine neaut,gave a good misting of lemon refresh,used double concentrate odour fresh,extracted both sides,in both directions,rug was on a wooden floor,and had started attacking the wood,was wee from a small dog,not sure if that makes any difference,not heard back from customer,but said it may still smell until 100% dry

try bicarb of soda in a spray bottle worked for me ;D
