Afternoon fellow carpet cleaners!

Did a living room carpet today just round the corner from where i live.. Man insisted on quote over the phone as he was shopping around! so i just said i normally charge £40 for 12/12 (which i do) but as he only lives round the corner and the fact he has one of my 10% discount vouchers Id do it 4 £40.00 (so £36.00)

Anyway turned up and lets just say  thats the biggest 12/20 room ive ever seen!! thin white wool mix carpet
with faint stains on traffic area.  I used pre spray gold (5 ltrs worth) with abit of traffic clean from alltec (freebe) and wool safe rinse.

anyway after id finished, went into the kitchen and told the mrs id done if she wanted to come and have a look and she said... 'oh no no, if you could just tell my husband.. Its him u need to speak to not me' so out he came and went all around the room feeling for wet then started lookin though his glasses and asked what those marks were... (one or 2 dots) which i plucked out with my finger nails...

he then asked if he could be cheeky - could i do his rug while i was their! I said i'll take it home and drop it off tomorrow!

so here it is, its only a cheep thing from next. added photos.

can anyone tell me best way to clean it? 100% acrylic in red!
also, how much would you charge? never done rug before! am not doin it for nawt cheeky git!

I was thinkin power burst clear water (i think)?? failing that av got pre spray gold n prochem liquid wool safe lol

Clean it with what you want its bullet proof mate.

And you'll kick yourself for not clarifying a price beforehand. He's expecting it for free or he wouldn't have said 'can I be cheeky'

I know!! the novelty's starting to wear off now (100 hours + later) Think ill just stick a tenner on coz its only small!

would it be really bad if i put acid rinse in with wool safe already in tank?

Clean however you want, take it back and stand there like a porter who has just carried your bags to your room. 

Rugs can bite you in the arse or make you good money if you know what to do. You obviously would benefit immensely from a course in rug cleaning.

Last week did HSL and then the 'can you just run over these' Two indian rugs didn't look that dirty, turns out dog had peed on them, would have been a mess if I had 'just ran over them' and for what, nothing or very little.

lol, If i did that, i think he's more likely to mistake me for his wife! 

I get the distinct impression she has to walk 20 paces behind him when there out!

I asked him if i was ok to park on his drive.. he looked at me and said ' well how long r u going to be'

Ive sprayed it with PB.. cant tell any difference tho! oh well its clean
