just bought a new round
« on: October 26, 2005, 11:11:14 pm »
just required a round , the only worry i have is that i have not met all the customers yet as when i was took round a lot were out or at work etc, the gentleman did however introduce me to most of the customers, so when i go to collect im thinking they may think im some sort of fraudster, is it normal to put some sort of notification like a flyer saying who i am when i will collect and you can expect the same quality or words to that affect or does anyone know any other method that might help? ps thanks to all who responded to my flyers post

A truthful reply is be careful. I would suggest you get infront of them asap and preferably before you do the work, maybe one evening, explain your taking over and nothing will change, particulary the price, don't give them a reason to move before you even start. It is best to speak first before setting out, cleaning their windows to be told they had cancelled or not interested. Good luck!!!

The guy I have just bought my round off has offered to collect with me the first time.
I have even posted a card through all jobs done where the customer has not been in, just saying simply "Windows Cleaned Today, Many Thanks" then my name and phone number.
