Hi dont usually come in this section much as most of my work is power washing.
But I have just bought a compact little window cleaning round.
Work is begining to slow down a little so i thought window cleaning would keep me going over the quiet months and should create opportunities for more exterior cleaning.
Its done every two weeks.
Ive done my fair share of windows over the years so i am no stranger to old ways of wc, which I will be doing at first.
My van carries a 500 litre tank.
So I am just wondering what I would need to convert it to wfp system.
I have extending lance set ups that I use for facia and conservatory cleaning so i am no stranger to using poles and brushes.

flow controller is advisable
18 - 24 ft pole
DI vessel if soft water area
Ro and small D/I if in hardwater area
50 mtr hose which you probably already have

So I could set up the ro and di units up in my van?
Then set up a pump at the outlet where I connect my hose.
I have been looking at various pole set ups over the past couple days.

This afternoon I have been on a mission, getting all the kit out of my van just looking what i will have to buy and what i could adapt for this job.
I have got a Mr Longarm alumiglass 5.3m pole, which has a trigger on one end and has a powerwasher hose running up the middle of it to the fitting on the top.
Anyway I have stripped the pole down an it looks like it will make an ideal donor.
Its a very light pole but sturdy as well.
The brush I have been using on the signs is a horsehair brush with long soft bristles on it.
Looks like I could put a couple of jets on it.

It may be easier to filter the water and put in a seperate storage tank at home due to the time i can take to purify the water.
Then just pump it in to the van tank.

But a lot do set the filters up in the van not sure wear the D/I filter goes though as it polishes the water coming out of the tank.

Cheers for that Paul, I have got a spare 1000 ltr IBC tank but the only problem I have is that I have got 2 big Bullmatiff dogs and they just love to chew anything plastic.
But I suppose I could I could section an area off for the tank.
I bought an RO man filter machine last night off ebay for 18 quid.
I just need a DI filter now.

            i got a bullmastiff, his got a liking for sky + remotes, 9 this yr so far!!!

My 16 month old  B**** has chewed a complete domestic powerwasher, a very expensive karcher lance, 4 fence panels and has punctured loads of 25 litre drums.
My eight month old dog has a liking for dustpans, hand brushes and watering cans and a hosepipe reel.
So I am just a bit worried about having lots of plastic chewable bits about the place.
