Surely it will just take a bit longer to clean, depending on the schedule you have agreed with the customer so charge extra time not just because of your opinion on pets lol but because there is more cleaning to do. Or don't take the job on if you are not happy to do it, put them on the 'waiting list' as all your cleaners are fully booked currently, but you will be in contact soon when a booking slot becomes available.

if its taking longer then just add more time to it, or say week 1 we'll clean upstairs, and week 2 downstairs?

Tthat.s the thing, because I said first time that is going to take me two hours but I barely finish in 3-3,5 hours....but in the same time I have a job on one office(working less, paid double) where this guy is the big boss and I'm affraid that I'll loose this job if I want to charge him more... :( :-X

thats why there is always a disclaimer to begin with - and some flexibility you have to be upfront and honest. Just cos they want 2 hrs doesn't mean you can get all the checklist done in two hours. You have to be realistic else you eill be working very hard for nothing.

Have you got an agreed checklist that you went through with the customer? i would say to them that the cleaning they request is taking longer than the original quote and either the timings need to be altered or the checklist duties unless they are prepared to pay for 3 or 4 hours. Once you get on top of things it will be easier to maintain and the timings probably drop down again.

If the house is as bad as you say i would always suggest a deep clean first to bring up to maintenance standard, maybe this is where you fell flat?

I have done the deep clean....but the thing is that they keep this dog in the house every where and is taking me more to hoover all over the house than to clean the house....effectively is hair everywhere, i cant even take all the hair out...to be sincere I don't know how they can live like that...anyway i'll find a solution...thanks everybody for your answer ;)

Tell them what you've put on here and just work the hours at the rate

I think you should not charge anything for cleaning pets.

get a vacuum cleaner that deals with animal hair, should take no longer than cleaning up after some dirty humans :)
Sounds like you may have got the initial agreement wrong, just have a word and see what they say :)
