pole carriers

IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO KNOWS WERE I CAN BUY A POLE CARRIER
WHICH WILL FIT ON MY ROOF RACK NEXT TO MY LADDERS.
I HAVE A WFS WITH 2 LONG POLES AND I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP THEM IN POLE
CARRIER AND LOCKED

I converted a 3 metre length of soil pipe from the local builders merchants, complete with 2 end caps, cut a slot for the neck.Then down to Halfords to get the mounting clamps for the roof rack. Sorted.

Duke, glue some cushion foam or a sponge to the inside of the end cap, then put a circular piece of ply behind that and this will decelerate the pole when you brake hard and your pole shouldn't go through the end.

It really isn't a problem, pole's just fine...up and down the M5...round all the twisty bends around Gloucestershire at warp 6.....

Just want to say ta for this imfo.

I have a 45ft Tucker pole that is taking a few knocks in the van & havent been able to find a decent carrier....so I will follow your suggestion - soil pipe it is!!

I bought mine from Cleantech. It comes with a latch on it so you can paddlock up at the end of the day.

 :)try omnico a plastic company they have places in most town has a end cover with hasp and staple so you can lock it i just cut a hole in it myself so it would take my goose necks only cost me £47.00 :)

No the brush head stays on.
You just cut a slot for the gooseneck to slide into.

Don't know about poles without goosenecks as i dont have any of these.

buy a large van get all my stuff in a ldv pilot used to be l/w/b tranny,saves money and time rest my tucker pole on top of holding tank,
