2012 Problem Solving
« on: October 18, 2011, 04:26:40 pm »
Good afternoon everyone, as the winter draws upon us, I’m thinking about the problems and challenges I’ve encountered this year, what problems lie ahead and what I can do to best protect my business. Like me, do people have a need for more sales leads, how best to deal with and convert them or getting paid on-time?  I’m thinking of focusing on more sales and marketing training or is safety training still the way forward? What other training are people thinking of undertaking or what people think is the best way forward to keep the roof over their head and maybe have holiday!
Look forward to hearing from you soon

Regards
Reece
Ps: Just out of interest, does anyone think they get good value of  Safecontractor or any other accredited scheme and does it win you any business

Hi

You will need safety training ig you want to grow especially on big jobs. Unfortunatly, SafeContractor or Constuctionline are a necessity for local government tenders or shopping malls. By conforming and answering their H&S questions and submitting various docs, once you pass the criteria it helps on tenders. basically, its all a rip off but I do have my accreditation with them now. Plus you have to renew the subscription every year.
Also did a course on IOSH and have that certificate now as well as CSCS card. You,ll have to protect yourself.
