Weed Spraying in public areas
« on: October 08, 2011, 01:26:46 pm »
Hi Guys,
Not sure if this is better here or on one of the other forums but anyway !! We do outside cleaning for one of our clients, carpark etc. We have been asked about weed spraying in the season & i want to price it in for next year/season, does anyone know if we need any cert's. licenses  etc for handling weed killer in public areas apart from the normal H&S which will be dealt with,
Thanks,
Ron

Hi
try a search under 'weed killer' has been covered before.

Basically if you are applying weed killer via a knapsack as a contractor you
require a license legal requirement Pa1/ pa6 Nptc 2 day course. Does not matter if you are on someones drive or in a public area still require license. ;D ;D
