Hi Herbie

Is your resin container one of those small blue 200 ml ones that come with most RO MAN systems?  If it is I suspect your resin is spent. Surprised you got 3 weeks out of it really.  :)

If you have changed the resin you should be getting 0 TDs out of it.

I would check that you have connected everything back properly. Oh  one other thing. Do you have an inline TDS meter?  If so and its got wet with contaminated water from your RO then it could well be reading wrong. THats why I use a handheld.

hmmmmm

22 seems to me to be a high reading even before it goes through the DI. I would disconnect from the DI.. check reading out of the RO and see what that is.

I have very hard water at over 400 PPM and never get more that 10 out of my 200 GPD RO from Ro Man and thats at marginal pressure ( 50 PSI )

Worth a go maybe?

If you change your resin the reading should drop to zero within a couple of minutes (if not quicker) of turning the water back on. Does with my 200GPD RO-Man.

If you have an inline TDS meter I have noticed that it does not read the same as my handheld, only + or - 001 though, not as much as your reporting. Judging by comments made on this forum I would trust the handheld reading over the inline meter.

Do you have any way of checking your handheld meter is working properly? Calibration solution perhaps? You're in the dark if your meter is playing up. Had it happen to me with my first one. I was sold a duff one which would not read less than 055.
