Hi My neighbour asked my advise for his, what looks like Amtico or similar floor. His little boy
 has caused scuff lines with his toys. Its not wood and is laid in individual strips. I have a
sample and its a form of plastic. Pictures attched any advise would be appreciated.

I would scrub it lightly with a rotary and light detergent,then suck up with a wet pick up
depending whats underneath,if the plastic is scuffed i cant see how you will remove

You need to find out if it has been treated with Amtico polish. If it has, then it needs to be sripped with Amtico polish remover.

More often than not, it won't have been treated. A rotary scrubber, as above, will clean out the scratches and the gaps where the dirt  has settled in them.

When dry....2 or 3 coats of Amtico floor polish will make it look the mutts nutts and will also hide the scratches.

Don't waste your money on Amtico finish. Find out how glossy the customer wants it and get some of the Pioneer Eclipse stuff from Amtech. I can highly recommend their Floormatte finish.

As for pads, if it has scratches buy a grey super cross vileda pad. They are intended for safety floor but will resurface the floor by lightly abrading the PU wear layer and removing and topical coating applied.

Way more aggressive than a red or blue pad but without the risk of scratching. Just make sure that the floor hasn't got White patches where worn through already. Unlikely with Amtico but still possible.

An alternative to that are KGS Flexis /Twister /Kilndex/Monkey/Storm/Whatever pads. Course to medium grade depending on what spec rotary you have again to resurface the floor.
