Inline sprayer problem
« on: September 18, 2011, 02:48:42 pm »
Haven't used it in a few weeks when it was last working fine. Tried to use it yesterday and it didn't appear to be drawing any solution from it.
Checked it today and cleaned out any filters, etc and tried it again, seemed to be drawing some but more slowly than I remember it, also water is flowing into it from the solution tank on my machine.
Has the valve gone? Any other ideas please?

Thanks Paul

Paul it has a ball-bearing that is held in place with a spring, this is to stop solution passing into the container, the spring pushes the ball-bearing down to create a seal, on yours the ball bearing is misaligned allowing solution to pass.

sounds strange but when mine goes faulty i swop the Q/C to the spray end and fire water backwards through the valve, always works for me.

have you checked the breather hole is not blocked?  It's in the plastic screw-on lid kind of thing that screws onto the container, at least it is on my sprayer.
