Cost Of Water
« on: September 04, 2011, 10:31:46 am »
Hi All

I am struggling to find a sensible source of information with regard to the cost of water, can anyone please help, what would the cost be to produce 650 litres using a van system?

Cheers

Matt

If using an RO that isn't set to reject too much waste, probably about £2 - £3 for the water.  Then, you have a scenario where the more waste is rejected, the more water you use.  However, more waste means a lower TDS from the RO so would use less resin.  Too many if/buts/maybes to be accurate but you could be talking about £4 for 650 litres.  Resin only (no RO) is a different matter and will vary more wildly depending which part of the country you are in (water hardness).
