I have my email! - alex@agardiner.co.uk

We do not have  1.5mm jets - but we are working on fanjets which will use less water than 2mm pencil jets.

i SO OFTEN READ ABOUT SAVING WATER AND SMALLER JETS OR FAN JETS. THE THING WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND WE FLOAT THE DIRT OF THE GLASS. no water no clean.

I agree - I have always taught the 'curtain effect' for rinsing and this is best achieved with a good flow of water. For me the best jets are still 2mm (well 1.97-1.99mm to be precise!).

Without a decent flow rate, you cannot get the 'curtain' and as a result you either spend more time rinsing or the chance of inadequate rinsing. This applies whether rinsing on or off the glass.

For me water is cheap (and yes I am on a water meter) but my time is not cheap. Just my opinion  :)

This is true you just want a nice steady flow rate sheeting the glass. I remember trying to save water by doing this but ended up taking longer to clean each window.
