I can't imagine the customer with expensive rugs and furnishings bothering with the 70% discount offers as they will - in most cases - be cynical of " offers " with huge discounts and give them a wide berth.
Although we live in a world of " competitive pricing " and " 2 for the price of 1 specials " I don't expect it to be too applicable at the higher end of the market,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.but ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the world is changing rapidly and yesterdays values are not necessarily the same as today's so I could be totally wrong.
This advert has only gained one sale so far which is not surprising as the vast majority of buyers in the Groupon type of marketplace could replace their little 8 x 6 rug for £150 or so.
None the less..............the presentation in this particular advert is excellent and could be scaled down to appeal to a much wider audience.
I reckon the coming year will find loads of Groupon copycats with better deals for sellers then you might be in a happier position profitwise and be able to rapidly build a list of satisfied clients.
