nothing, just carry on canvassing, if he does a good job at a fair price his custies will stay with him, if not you might get some that are not happy with their current windie just be polite to everybody you meet while canvasssing.I think every road you go to will have a windie working there so moving on not an option for me.

always canvass in evening so hav`nt come across another windie while canvassing.Id just keep knocking if i did, nothing cheeky about canvassing while another windie`s in the street. He don`t own the street same, as i don`t own any of the streets i work in. Everyone has a right to make a living.

just say hello to him tell him who you are and what you are doing, ask if he got any work he dont want or the houses he dont do in the street.then carry on.

you are entitled to canvass his area if they say yes then he is obviously a crap windy and they want rid. he cant confront you as y6ou have put a cheaper quote and the ex custie of his wants you .carry on mate
