im finding now ive got a van mount and the best equipment im burning through my work at a good fast rate and find it easy to manage my 340+ customers.im picking up the odd new job here and there most weeks but im getting used to working 5-6 hours on the glass per day.i dont know if im getting lazy but i used to do 9am-5pm and not earn the money im earning now when i was trad only.
i dont want to work flat out every day like i used to as it grinds me down after a while and i get fed up with it all.there is extra time spent filling up and maintaining poles, etc so im still doing a fair whack most days.maybe im getting old(nearly 40!).
do some of you lads still do an 8 hour day with wfp and does it grind you down after a while?
im also thinking if i work too hard ill end up with RSI over time.
i see a fair few trad guys that are a lot older than me still working at 4pm when im driving home.sometimes i finish at 3pm esp during hot weather with still a good amount of work cleaned.
i think im turning into a part timer!!
what are your thoughts guys?
best wishes
