Smokey conservatory
« on: October 14, 2005, 04:00:33 pm »
 Hi Guys

Thanks for all your help with the conservatory quote, quoted £90 and got the job.

16 windows + 16 small openers
1 door with glass
35 ceiling slightly frosted glass
all frames and PVC

I need one more piece of help...

Whats the best thing for treating the smoke stained PVC frames???

It doesn't look too bad but the whole internal hasn't been cleaned for 3 years except the windows.

Kind regards

Hi Martin

Great meeting you today - thanks for taking the time to stop and sorry I didn't have longer.

If you see us again - please stop again.

Today was a commercial day and it's non stop from start to finish and we have to go like hell for leather.

I also wished I'd taken notice of your van so as I could keep an eye out. I didn't.... der.

Ain't it great to meet other CIU members?

How did you get on with the conservatory?

Der again... just read the above. Gee I'm sharp tonight.

Cheers

Hi guys

I used suger soap to clean all the frame work, then fairy liquid on the windows.

Sadly the windows kept smearing and were driving me crazy, so i used a special window cleaner used for cars.

rosskesava, it was great to meet you guys, i had a full on day myself, so couldn't stop long, next time hopefully.

Regards
