Getting supermarkets/other big stores etc
« on: July 28, 2011, 05:19:10 pm »
I wouldnt mind doing a bit of commercial work but unsure as to how to go bout getting it.
I know big national companies do alot of stuff and some subby them out to local Window cleaners.
Like morrisons round here was done by the company i used to work for then a national company got it.
Just wouldnt mind having some regular commercial work before i start my houses as thats how it was when i worked for someone-6am shops- 8am start houses.
Hospitals etc-used to do alot of them years ago for someone and heard they were good money

no offence but i dont think you realise its almost impossible for small local companies to get bigger jobs like supermarkets, hospitals etc ...

if you want to get into commercial, then try local businesses like offices, care homes etc ...

local hotels are a good one to, so basically anything thats a national chain dont bother wasting your time and efforts with as you prob have no chance mate, even if you get to sub a biggish job you will get paid under half what the main company are charging and wait forever for payment.

sorry to sound harsh but thats how it is now.
