How high can you clean with a WFP?
« on: October 18, 2005, 08:06:57 pm »
I've just read Caustic's thread about purchasing a 60 foot pole.  Prior to using a WFP, I'd have thought nothing of it.

But recently I used my 30 foot pole and it was wobbling all over the place.  Easy enough to handle though.

But double that height?  Crickey!

What's the highest you can clean with a WFP?  And what is it like?

I used our 35ft Ionics pole on full extention on a windy day.

Once I got it on the window I was reasonably ok as all I had to do was stand still and the wobble did the cleaning.

65 foot?

You'd need a pair of binoculars and arms like Popye.

Tosh my mate in newport uses the 65 ft pole and depending where you are ...in this case middle of town; its a two man job espeacially gettin the pole up there in first place.. wouldn't want to lose control of that in public :o

We use a 65fter about 6or7 times a month and its defo a 2 man job, gettin it up and down is a nightmare, also any little gust of wind and you feel like its goona go, but touch wood it never has, would hate to see the damage that would do :o
