Spotter Bottles
« on: July 13, 2011, 06:23:29 pm »
des anyone make up their own spotter bottles for supplying free to customers and if so do you use a microsplitter for this and are labels produced in line with health and safety regulations relating to the chemical used in the bottle. Does your insurance cover you for making up a spotter bottle and supplying free to customers.
Any info on this and how to go about setting this up would be appreciated.
thanks

i dont give away spotters can never see the logic to be honest . most of the ones supplied are crap really and when a customer tries and fails to remove a stain themselves they call you a go that spotter is not much good blah blah blah.

I give a way logo ed coffee cups to customers i like at the end of a job. then in the future when they are seaching for my number its always in the cupboard  or if they drop the mug full of coffee they may call me lol.

by the way you can have mugs printed for £1.30  each i also have fridge magnets and stickers to go on the hoovers (by permission)

On the contrary, we give a spotter bottle to every customer and they love them. I've even had people say it gets wine out so they serve us very well indeed and therefore with every penny. Restormate do them.

I have to drop 2 off for a customer in the morning, a lady who received a bottle of free spotter after using my services. She's delighted with the results it gives and is running out, thanks to her new puppy "That stuff's amazing, can I buy 2 from you please?" she said...

I replied "Of course madam, that'll be £19.90 please!" ;)

We give them away free on jobs over £100, sell them for £8.99 for jobs under that.
