It's an old tip, but a good one.
I've dropped accounts where they weren't to particular about cleaning up the mess their animals make.
Cats I can forgive; you can't control them and often it isn't your customer's cat whose made the mess, but dogs is different.
There's nothing worse than climbing down your ladders only to find the smelly-mess you've just walked up them.
It drives me barmy.
Once, I must've placed the foot of my ladder right into a lump of dog poo, then on lifting my ladder, I changed my hand grip so that I pushed the ladder up by the foot and received a handfull of disgusting brown stuff.
I lost my teddy that moment and never cleaned that account again. You should've heard me shout and swear.
I also clean an area called 'Garden City'. Wor Lass calls it 'S hit City' because dog owners let their animals foul in all the little alley ways behind the houses. It's not to bad in Summer when the poo dries and disperses quickly, but in winter it's like picking your way through an Iraqi mine field.
If ever I see a dog owner let their animal foul and don't pick it up; I remonstrate with them; regardless of how big they are, or how vicious their dog looks.
Poo; hate the stuff.
