Weather change
« on: October 07, 2005, 04:04:01 am »
Hey gents!

Yesterday it was 95 degrees. Today it was a high of 75!

Burr; it is going to get down to 55 degrees tonight! Time to wear lots of clothes! :o

What is the weather like "across the pond" and has there been any frost yet?

From some of the posts it appears that some areas are warm all the time and some cold a lot.

In our line of work we watch the weather constantly.

Curious to hear from you all.

Hugs;

Texas Girl :-*

Hi Debbie,

Well in the Chepstow area of the UK it has been prety mild. a couple of night the temp has dropped to around 5C and during the day it has risen to about 15C which is pretty mild for the time of year, still tee shirt weather ;)
Some places in the country have gone as high as 18C which is almost unseasonably warm for the time of year.
Won't last of course, and many are reckoning that we are going to have a cold winter this year, well, it's been a while since we have had a proper cold one, hope they're wrong (yet again!) I only had one morning last year where my water froze on the pavement :o
So I want the winter to be nice and mild again!!

Regards,

Ian

Hi Debbie

nice to hear from you again

the weather is warm for the time of year its been a funny year regarding weather, we dont seem to get the hot summers like we used to have but having said that we dont seem to get the thick snow like we used to.  Just changing over to wfp so i hope that allows me to work more safely through the bad weather  8)   I can earn more money to keep the kids and wife happy!  :D

Regards

Brett.

Hi Debbie.

It's what I would call perfect working weather here at the moment.
It's about 17c (or 64f if you like).

That means it's warm enough for t-shirts, but you don't get hot working.
Also there's no sun blinding you and making work harder.

I could work all day! Except I finished at 12 as it's friday.;)

Time to wear lots of clothes! :o

Not on your calender I hope! :D

Roger.

Here in Bristol we seem to get the best of all worlds - not too hot like London and the South East, not too wet like Cornwall, Wales (except sth east of Wales where our Moderators live) and not too cold, wet and up to your naughty bits in thistles like Scotland ;D)
It's a game of three halves!
