Hi Mytee Steve
I take you are well clued up on the speedster.
My pump when turned on sounds good but there is no pressure when I am trying to prime. I take it the motor is ok but the pump is knackered.
I have had my speedster for 4 years and have had nothing but grief from it.
Cheers
Alastair

Have you checked to see if there is fresh clean solution entering the waste tank? The reason i say that is because you could have it in prime mode which diverts the solution away from the wand and into your waste tank. Check your solution hose too.  Other than that open up the machine and check for leaks. Failing that consider buying a replacement pump.
If you need a replacement there is one on ebay iirc.
